AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. Job Summary

URS/AECOM has an opening for an AWRDS Clerk Lead in Kuwait.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Process data information from Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA)generated stamped posted DD 1348-1A signed from a Accountability Officer (AO) into the AWRDS system.

  2. Verify daily AWRDS data quality and integrity by checking plans for all required updates.

  3. Properly reserving equipment in AWRDS to a Document number provided by a Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) or a locally created Material Release Order (MRO).

  4. Provide MROs and EL_IDs to the RPAT staff for mission completion

  5. Enhances current systems and provides trend analysis

  6. Update all required transportation as require in AWRDS

  7. Identifies enhancements and improvements that increase the quality and efficiency of AWRDS data processing.

  8. Works closely with data quality technical staff, AWRDS Analysts and the data owners/subject matter experts.

  9. Ship equipment out of active retrograde plan into a transit plan after receiving a signed or stamped TCMD (DD1384).

  10. Coordinates activities of personnel engaged in reports analysis, such as determining necessity of report, simplification of reports format, increasing content effectiveness and reduction of processing costs.

  11. Properly identify Project Code using Federal Logistics program (FED LOG) as well as if equipment is standard or non-standard.

  12. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the APS5 KU/QA Safety Policies and Procedures.

  13. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.

  14. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Technical knowledge and proficiency of approved automated property management software, Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) with at least one year operational/ analytical experience is required.

  • At least five (5) years of working in Logistics Information Warehouse required

  • Prior U.S. Army (92A) MOS preferred.

  • Successful completion of a four (4) year degree can be substituted for two (2) years of

  • experience; eight (8) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree, if required. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.

  • College degree preferred

  • Clearance required: Favorable Background check (NACI Required) / Must be able to obtain a CAC and access the Government Network system.

  • Must have excellent computer, interpersonal, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.

  • Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills including a professional demeanor.

  • Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation and have intermediate math skills.

  • Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees.
