Job Summary

The Calgary Water team is delivering projects in Hydraulic Analysis and Modelling, Master Planning, System Optimization, Operational Studies /Improvements, Design, Rehabilitation, Condition Assessment and Asset Management. To address the growing market in wastewater and water analysis, we are looking for a self-motivated engineering professional with at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in water hydraulic modelling, planning, study and design.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysis and assessment of wastewater and water conveyance systems, master planning, analysis/design of complex systems including, pump stations and distribution networks and using various analysis tools including, InfoWater, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, and Mike Urban

  • Experience in report writing and supporting

  • Ability to Coordinate with Other AECOM office to deliver projects

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail, delivering quality

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Hydraulic engineering

  • 5+ years experiences in water resources engineering particularly in modelling of water distribution systems

  • Professional Engineer registered in Alberta

  • Proficient in various analysis tools including, InfoWater, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, Mike Urban

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Hydraulic engineering

  • 10+ years related experience
