Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager to be based in our Calgary, Alberta location.

AECOM’s Resources, Power and Industry Business has multiple opportunities for experienced Construction Managers to support the successful completion of a range of projects across the region.

Working as part of a dynamic, consulting environment, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects within the Resources and Industrial fields, with a current focus on the underground mine infrastructure space. Our team of industry experts and network of technical specialists will support the development of your technical and project management capabilities, giving you the opportunity to support project delivery to a broad range of clients and industry sectors. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide guidance to employees within latitude of established policies

  • Recommend changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization

  • Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends

  • May have budget responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Construction related discipline or demonstrated combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • Extensive construction and project related experience. Possesses a thorough knowledge of all engineering disciplines, construction technologies and job site management.

  • Experience in the management and specification of underground mine materials handling systems and equipment;

  • Experience in the management and specification of surface and underground mine infrastructure and related equipment;

  • Experience working in a dynamic, consulting environment.

  • You will be agile in your approach, with the ability to move into projects at short notice and deliver high-quality work output will be essential.
