Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Account Lead to be based in our Calgary, Alberta location!

Position Summary:

This is a supervisory role responsible for meeting project accounting deliverables and deadlines; training, performance management and development of project accounting team; and, providing innovative and proactive ideas for continuous functional/project improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related discipline; professional Designation CPA, CA, CMA or CGA preferred

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in accounting with increasing levels of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years supervisory experience preferred

  • Understanding of GAAP and Accounting as it pertains to construction

  • Analytical, self-motivated problem solver with ability to “think outside the box”

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication

  • Knowledgeable in accounts payable and receivable, payroll and employment standards, union agreements and different types of construction contracts execution

  • Focused worker able to produce results under pressure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications especially (Excel, Word and Outlook)

  • Experienced in use of ERP system (JD Edwards)
