About the Business Line
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.
Undertake and review structural analysis, calculations and design sketches and drawings indicating arrangement and design intent for a variety of water and urban development structures;
Preparation and review of structural design report, calculation, drawings, specification, cost estimation and details/schedules for projects;
Carry out design activities that are cost effective and comply with clients’ specifications and statutory regulations;
Conduct engineering assessments and evaluations related to existing structures and/or structural alternatives and prepare technical reports documentation the results;
Communicate with clients, sub consultants, approving agencies, etc. for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design alternatives, and expediting approvals;
Attend project meetings;
Manage multiple projects;
Liaise/co-ordinate with other disciplines/departments in preparation of design packages for multi-disciplinary projects.
Adhere and Implement AECOM’s Quality Assurance requirements, procedures and policies to daily work scope.
Adhere and Implement AECOM’s Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) requirements, procudures and policies daily work scope.
Minimum 10 years of structural design experience in Structural Engineering, added advantage is specific to water and urban development works;
In depth technical knowledge of structural discipline;
Conversant with local codes, British Standards, Eurocodes and authority submission procedures
Excellent technical knowledge;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Team player with good project management knowledge.
- Recognized minimum Bachelor or Masters Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering;
