About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
We have an opportunity for a Communication & Engagement Consultant to support the timely delivery of high quality communication and community engagement services, for a diverse range of clients and projects.
This is a 6 month contract role, which may require travel within QLD and interstate.
•Undertake research and provide input into strategic and tactical communication and engagement plans;
•Work with multi-disciplinary teams, providing and evaluating communication and engagement services;
•Write, produce and distribute communication materials, for both traditional and online channels;
•Coordinate community information sessions;
•Manage and Respond to key stakeholder and community enquiries, via project hotlines and email;
•Data entry using Consultation Management System (CMS).
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a practitioner to work in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our Senior Consultants will provide mentoring in order to develop your skills across a diverse range of complex and rewarding projects,
2-6 years' demonstrated experience working within a dynamic, face-paced environment;
Consulting experience will be highly regarded;
Experience in the design, engineering and construction industries is desired, but not essential.
You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and will pride yourself on your ability to build relationships and deliver on outcomes. Your energetic approach and ability to remain agile in a high-pressure environment will be key to your success in the role.
You will hold relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Communications or Journalism. Prior experience in Consultation Management System (CMS) is highly advantageous.
