Position Title Mechanical Quality Assurance Auditor

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mechanical Quality Assurance Auditor for immediate employment in the Arlington, VA office. Project is located in Boydton, VA.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all of the systems perform interactively according to the project requirements in accordance with the Project Documents, Basis of Design (BOD), the Commissioning Plan of Record (CxPoR) and the Quality Control Manual

  • Ensure that the materials used for construction are the properly submitted items and that they comply with the contract drawings and project document requirements

  • Perform Daily site inspection and document these inspections

  • Provide issue management of issue discovered

  • Verify and document that all OFCI and CFCI are delivered and stored per specifications and requirements

  • Document any deficiencies/damages using Latista

  • Ensure that applicable equipment and systems are installed properly and receive adequate quality checkout through careful site observation and verification of contractor's quality control documentation

  • Verify and document all systems are properly submitted and installed as intended per industry standard and specifications by witnessing and documenting throughout the construction process

  • Ensure that the as-built drawings, closeout documentation, comprehensive systems manual for turnover to the Owner during the closeout is in compliance with specifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in construction related field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience

  • 8+ years of realted experience

  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products

  • Knowledge of Prolog

  • Knowledge of Latista

  • Thorough understanding of industry

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good math/accounting skills

  • Strong management skills

  • Functions effectively as part of a team

  • Ability to develop or maintain relationships with clients

  • Exhibits strong leadership qualities

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

  • Must be dependable

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong decision making/problem solving skills

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience with Data Center infrastructure development
