Position Title Senior Consultant, Senior Design Strategist

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant, Senior Design Strategist for employment in the Boston, MA office. This position will be embedded within the client site roughly 80% of the time, with some time spent in AECOM Boston Office working with teams.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Supporting our consulting projects with leading corporations, healthcare and cultural institutions, universities, and local and federal government
Managing and delivering specific activities within a large scale global program
Handling aspects such as the timeline, client interaction, communication, and delivery with oversight from a project manager and Studio Leader
Diagramming, data analysis and visualization, space programming, campus planning, leading to conceptual design, and implementation
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Planning, Design or other relevant field
10+ years related experience
Expertise in user research, design strategy, and space programming and/or campus planning
Related skills should include design briefing, strategy development, and concept development
Ability to lead client facing engagements and projects - workshops, focus groups, user interviews and presentations
Familiarity with user research methodologies and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) and Revit
High degree of flexibility and the ability to work on multiple projects
Lab planning experience preferred
Data analysis and visualization skills, experience working with various CAFM systems preferred
Project management experience preferred
Experience in creating and delivering change management as part of wider workplace strategy services is a strong plus
