Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Commissioning Project Manager for immediate employment in the Boston office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing and executing building system commissioning activities on large Government and Commercial Projects

  • Responsible as subject matter expert in building commissioning

  • Manages commissioning services and coordinates directly with Client, Design Team, and Construction Manager

  • Attends and participates in Design Review Activities

  • Conducts Construction Site Inspections

  • Leads M/E/P Commissioning Coordination Meetings

  • Participates in System Startup, Testing, and Training

  • Develops technical documentation, including Commissioning Plan, Test Procedures, Specifications, and Final Reports

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine)

  • 8+ years of experience

  • Acted as Commissioning Authority on (4) LEED Certified Projects greater than 150,000 sq-ft in the past 6 years

  • Commissioning Certifications Required (1 req'd): CxA, CCP, or CPMP

  • LEED Accreditation: LEEP AP

  • System Testing, Validation, and Acceptance experience

  • US citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​Active Security Clearance (Secret, TS,etc)

  • Active HSPD-12 (GSA req't)

  • PE License

  • Building Enclosure Commissioning Training

  • Testing, Adjusting, Balancing experience

  • NETA Electrical Testing experience

  • Healthcare and/or Laboratory Construction experience

  • Pharmaceutical Facility Construction experience

  • Mission Critical facility experience, i.e. Data Centers, Critical Operations Centers
