Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Architect III for immediate employment in the Boston, MA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepares plans, designs, and specifies furnishings for interiors of a wide range of building types

  • Formulates design which is practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity, selling merchandise, or improving life style

  • Works with Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Architects, clients and other design professionals to develop design solutions that are safe, functional, and attractive and meet the needs of the people using the space

  • Develops solutions to a wide range of difficult technical problems

  • Identifies risks or problems and independently determines and develops solutions

  • Oversee the work of less experienced designers

  • Works with clients as well as the internal and external project team to execute the project from concept to execution and completion

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field

  • 7+ years of experience

  • Must be licensed in the State of MA

Must be proficient in the following programs:

  • Microsoft Office

  • AutoCAD

  • Revit

  • SketchUp

  • VRay

  • Rhino

  • Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the design of transportation buildings such as airport and/or rail passenger terminals is a plus but not required

  • Experience with the software Lumion is a plus

  • LEED Certification is a plus
