Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

The Environmental Remediation group of the Houston office is actively seeking a self-motivated, team oriented individual for a field position in the Borger, TX area.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor remedial systems

  • Diagnose problems and repair remedial systems as necessary

  • Maintain records associated with operation and maintenance of systems

  • Support remedial operations and direct remedial subcontractors as appropriate

  • Support and assist with air monitoring and environmental sampling

  • Actively participate in Behavior-Based Safety Program, including completing safety observations and taking responsibility for personal and jobsite safety

  • This position is staffed on a rotating schedule with other team members, with work days typically 10-12 hours each - There is also an on-call component to the work schedule

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of mechanical systems in a refinery or plant environment

  • Must be a team player

  • Due to nature of this work, U.S. Citizenship required

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

  • General mechanical and electrical knowledge applicable to operating and maintaining remediation systems;

  • Experience working in a refinery or other industrial setting

  • Understand the requirement and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Experience with personal air monitoring equipment

  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certified

  • First Aid Certified
