Position Title Enviromental Engineer
Colombia - Distrito Capital
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Enviromental Engineer for employment in the Bogota, Colombia office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Be able to work and problem-solve independently and contribute to a team
Have proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (essential), and experience with GIS and/or drawing CAD programs (highly regarded)
Be available for work
Be available for work/travel outside normal office hours & inter-departments or overseas, as required
Elaboration of Environmental Impact Studies
Willing to move out of Bogota for a field work
Possess clear, concise, and logical written and oral communication skills
Work well under pressure with an organized approach to managing tasks, time and workload
Display strong attention to detail with the ability to research & review documents and draw conclusions to support recommendations
Field work and office
Data Collection and interpretation
Field Sampling Air, water, soil
Coordination of field activities and office work
Bachelor's degree in environmental science/science/engineering of associated careers
5+ years of experience with environmental jobs
Experience with the Coordination and direction of environmental projects
Experience in the elaboration of Environmental Impact Studies and knowledge in paperwork for the approval of environmental licenses for infrastructure projects and the environment data collection; analysis and interpretation.
Knowledge and experience with environmental sampling/monitoring
knowledge of the Colombian environmental regulatory framework will be highly regarded
Environmental Site Assessment; Impact Assessment, Due Diligence, Phase I & I, Program Monitoring.
Have demonstrated skills in report writing (English & Spanish )
Bilingual (English & Spanish)
