Job Summary

The B+P business line of AECOM Colombia is seeking a BIM manager. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate a robust handling of BIM technologies (including implementation, integration, development, and maintenance) and experience managing interdisciplinary teams. As she will interact with teams abroad, it is key that the applicant be fluent in English (speeking and writing).

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides overall direction of BIM activities in assigned areas including BIM implementation, integration, development, maintenance, potential liabilities and/or concerns

  • Creates and manages standard operating procedures and processes

  • Responsible for providing leadership and direction of specific BIM technologies to assigned project teams

  • Develops technical solutions to wide range of difficult problems

  • Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies

  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems

  • May have budget responsibilities

  • Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4+ years of experience

  • Management of interdisciplinary teams

  • Implementation of BIM technologies

  • Fluency in oral and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of BIM technologies

  • Certificates of courses on BIM tools is a plus
