About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Environmental Engineer for immediate employment in the Beltsville, MD office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Serve as Project Engineer for mid to large scale remedial efforts in the Metro District
Develop conceptual and detail remedial feasibility studies, benchscale and pilot scale workplans, draft and final site remediation documents including Final Feasibility Studies, Corrective Measures Studies, Remedial Design Documents, Contractor Bid Packages, QA/QC documents, Closure Reports etc.
PE or EIT
5+ years of experience
Remedial feasibility, remediation technology selection, remedial design and implementation experience
Management of remedial projects through project life cycle phases
Understanding of environmental RI/FS/CA process
US citizenship required
A secondary skill set (or primary is the candidate is strong enough) would be a surface water, stormwater civil engineer
Strong in development of Stormwater Management Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Surface Water Quality, Wastewater Treatment, TMDL studies, stormwater modeling, NPDES and MS4 permitting, design of BMPs, etc.
Experience with sediment investigations and remediation desirable
