AECOM India is seeking a qualified Resident Engineer (RE) - S&T for project management consultancy services at Hospet-Bellary-Guntakal and Toranagallu – Ranajitpura section of southern Railway. The RE would be responsible to provide resident engineering services at client's office to ensure compliance with specifications requirements, budget restrictions and schedule.
Duties also include:
Daily coordination and interaction with contractor,
Processing change requests,
Processing request for information,
Managing construction management staff,
Project close-out and,
Other tasks associated with project administration.
Ensures conformance to quality, performance, safety and/or code requirements by overseeing inspection duties.
Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
Total10 years for Graduate Engineers or 15 years for Diploma Engineers
At least 3 years experience in Gazetted Cadre of S&T department in Railways and/or as Manager and above in Signal & Telecommunication Engineering department in any of the related government bodies or any MetroRail Corporation either individually or combined. The person should also meet the hurdle criteria of having experience of at least three years in execution/ commissioning/maintenance of Railway signalling works in any grade.
Or, Minimum professional experience of 5 years as In-charge or one level below the In-charge of signalling works of Railways with Signalling Contractors for RRI/SSI/PI and/or as Expert (S&T) or equivalent or higher with Project Management Consultants for RRI/SSI/PI either individually or combined. The person must have successfully passed initial training course for apprentice JE(Signal)/ SE(Signal)/ Probationer(IRSSE) or equivalent course at IRISET/ Secunderabad or Conversion/Integration course for Group 'B' Railway Officers at IRISET/Secunderabad or should be a IRSE License holder.
Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.Degree/Diploma in Project Management/Construction Management from a recognized institution
