Job Summary

AECOM are currently recruiting for a Document Controller to join our well established Strategic highways team based in our Beechill House, Belfast office.

As document controller, you will assist the senior document controller and be responsible for:

Supporting the Project Managers with the document control needs on a number of highways projects.

Maintaining document records in line with project requirements

Managing and maintaining the flow of Project Design data using Project Extranets.

Circulating documents for review, information, approved etc. as per project distribution matrix.

Promptly responding to urgent queries and tasks.

The role will also involve some general administration type duties as and when required by the team.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will need the following essential competencies:

Educated to Degree level in a Civil Engineering/Construction related discipline.

Previous experience of document control processes and techniques.

Previous experience of Project Collaboration software or similar on-line file sharing software.

The above must be clearly stated on your CV for us to consider your application.

Applicants will preferably have the following desirable competencies:

Educated to Masters level in Civil Engineering/Construction related discipline

Specific experience of document control processes and techniques within the Construction Industry.

Significant experience of Project Collaboration software or similar on-line sharing software.

Along with the above you will also possess good written skills and a working knowledge of general office software (Microsoft Office).

Be a self-starter, with excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to priorities and manage their workload largely unsupervised.
