Job Summary

We are looking for an Associate Director to take a key leadership role in managing versatile teams and delivery of challenging projects, for the global design centre of AECOM. The successful candidate will manage a team with responsibility for further growth. The role would suit a self-motivated individual looking to advance their career in a dynamic team.

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrate experience of team leadership in other similar international design centre operation in the fields of transport planning and modelling

  • Working on a variety of projects as Senior Project Manager/ Project Manager or task manager / leader.

  • You will have excellent technical and communication skills alongwithexperience of undertaking a range of projects involvingvehicle and / or pedestrian flow analysis and as well as macro and/or micro-simulation modelling.

  • You will have knowledge on relevant industry standards and guidance.

  • You will have knowledge and hands on working experience of working with one or more of the relevant software such as- SATURN, CUBE, EMME, VISSIM, PARAMICS, etc. Also, knowledge of some of pedestrian micro-simulation modelling software such as LEGION, VISWALK, etc will be desirable.

  • You will have a flexible approach to supporting project and business development activities across wider AECOM geographies.

  • You will be able to demonstrate strong business development and team leadership experience.

  • Ability in dealing directly with clients and client relationship management, ability to engage and influence at a senior level within client organisations.

  • Successful delivery of bids and proposals, if and when required.

  • Provenability of managing and growing a team, with strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and maintain a highly motivated project delivery team.

  • Project delivery, ability to effectively manage project finances and commercial risks.

  • Good industry profile, the gravitas to represent AECOM with major clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• BArch, BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng or PhD in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Geography, Economics or other relevant subject.

• You will have a relevant degree and will be a Chartered Engineer or will be working towards an appropriate Chartered status with membership of a professional institution.
