About the Business Line

Water

We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary

AECOM are currently looking to hire an experienced Assistant Modeller for our water hydraulics design team based in Bangalore, India.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hydraulic Modelling using EPANET / Water CAD software

  • Demonstrating awareness of the Water transmission and networks

  • Designing water networks and transmission pipeline

  • Demonstration experience in SW technical field, particularly flood hazard mapping

  • Previous experience of having worked for International consultancy in river, flood risk, drainage or network modelling sectors

  • Previous experience of working for International companies including the Environment Agency and Local Authorities, Utility companies and/or private developers.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years’ hydraulic modelling experience.

  • Previous experience of having worked for International consultancy in Clean water modelling sectors

  • Previous experience of working for clients including the Environment Agency and Local Authorities, Utility companies and/or private developers.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Excellent communications skills and experience of working successfully as part of a remote team.

  • Experience of team leadership with good commercial awareness and project management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc/BEng in Engineering or Water Science related subject
