Job Summary

The appropriate level of technical expertise is required in order that the Job/Project Accountabilities listed below can be carried out to the necessary standards.

  1. May provide support to project staff in general office duties including filing, control of incoming/outgoing documents, photocopying, scanning documents, etc.

  2. Prepares CAD drawings and assists with some general CAD office duties.

  3. Able to work independently on smaller projects of any project type.

  4. Work as part of a team on larger projects, meeting deadlines and issue dates.

  5. Gaining further experience in RC Detailing and co-ordination of details.

  6. May provide guidance to less experienced CAD Technicians.

  7. Develop awareness of BIM and 3D modeling.

  8. Reporting to Principal Technician.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have worked at a similar level on major civil infrastructure projects including rail, roads, and highways.

• International projects experience would be preferred.

• Understand the commonly used forms of contract and the implication to drawings produced on each project.

• Shows willingness and enthusiasm, actively contributes.

• Supports colleagues, seen as a team player.
