About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Environmental Project Engineer for immediate employment.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Contribute to the selection, design, installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems
Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, regulatory design submittals, construction bid packages, permit applications, and engineering cost estimates and schedules
Prepare technical work plans, O&M / remediation progress reports and closure reports
Preform engineering calculations for remediation systems
Oversee contractor personnel
Assist in management of waste residuals
Technical support for operation activities
Prepare data analysis and presentation for technical meetings with the client and regulators
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
10+ years of relevant professional work experience
Experience with feasibility studies and remedial action plans, remedial design documents and engineering cost estimates
Proficiency in remedial technology, treatment systems and design, operation, and maintenance
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Behavior-base safety conscious
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Professional Engineering License in California
Direct experience with large CERLA projects and industrial facilities
