About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the MOSC-A contract for a Maintenance Analyst II the Analyst assists in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, work instructions and training plans. Implements a quality control program that monitors and reports on: compliance with POPs, SOPs, program and project directives, work instruction and customer feedback. Conducts Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) of Maintenance Support Team off-site operations throughout the theatre of operations. Assists in staffing of all stages of developing, planning, implementing, resourcing and sustainment of maintenance operations to include but not limited to Maintenance Contact Teams (MCT), Maintenance Support Teams
(MST) and mission specific projects. Provide leadership development, mentorship, advice and counselling to supervisors and leads as directed. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture in order to achieve low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System. Assists in staffing of commodity forecasting, trend analysis, tracking analysis and provides recommendations for corrective actions. Equipment failure rate collection, mitigation processes recommendation and implementation. Review, catalogue and provide assistance with technical inconsistencies for compliance of life cycle procedures and oversight. Asset visibility for project risk and cost benefit analysis with trend usage data and application improvement. Performs other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Secret Security Clearance, is required
5 - 7 years’ experience in maintenance process and analysis required.
1 – 3 years supervisory experience required
Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or
educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience.
Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college
and vice versa.
