The Intercompany Accounting Team of AECOM Global Business Services is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for immediate employment in the Austin, TX office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs professional level accounting support
Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices
Supports moderately complex projects, working under general supervision
Reviews account reconciliations including analysis of recurring items and recommendations for improvements or solutions
Monitors, analyzes, and reconciles various balance sheet accounts
Makes recommendations based on analysis of accounts
Works with internal customers to gather and provide information
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field
2+ years of relevant experience
Highly detail oriented and well organized
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Working knowledge of MS Office
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Must understand relationships between accounts, and have basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting & financial analysis principals
Experience with large ERP systems – Oracle E-Business Suite preferred
Experience with Intercompany account reconciliations or other complex balance sheet account reconciliations
Previous experience with multi-currency transactions and reconciliations
Medium to large corporation experience preferred
