About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
You will have strong knowledge of the Resource Management Act and be an ‘all-rounder’ who can contribute to the following services;
Analysis and review of relevant planning documents to scope planning requirements, develop planning methodologies and advise on key information to support required approvals.
Identify and advise on key environmental risks to the delivery of projects.
Prepare, manage and support applications requiring planning approval (i.e. resource consents, plan change requests, notices of requirement, etc.).
Prepare and manage submissions of planning documents.
Provide planning assistance to territorial, regional and national planning authorities.
Represent clients and/or provide expert evidence at statutory hearings.
10 years New Zealand planning experience, preferably in a consulting environment
Resource Management or NZ planning qualification
Member of the NZPI (or is eligible)
Demonstrated experience in infrastructure designations and consenting
Can communicate exceptionally well and is client focused
Ability to provide mentorship and support to junior staff
