Job Summary

The Role

This New Zealand based role will lead Digital Engineering teams across New Zealand. You will form part of the Digital Engineering leadership team working with teams across ANZ and globally to continuously improve our digital delivery excellence.

The Digital Engineering Leader will reports into the CI Group Director and be part of the strategic and operational decisions (go/no go etc) on Civil Infrastructure projects. The role will have all technical support staff (CAD/Modelling/BIM/GIS related) reporting via team leaders to this role. The individual will be part of an ANZ leadership team to drive the strategic platform and content choices required to deliver consistency and efficiencies (reducing software licensing, automating workflows and sharing workload between offices and with the design centres). This role will be linked with peers globally.

The role will also be involved in major bid process teams and at times major project delivery teams (during the setup phase).

The position requires an individual whom has demonstrated significant leadership in transforming approaches to digital delivery. The successful candidate will have worked across many engineering disciplines to deliver improvements in digital engineering quality and efficiency. Global experience is highly regarded.

Minimum Requirements

About You

With 15 years+ of professional experience and significant experience in consulting, you will have proven commercial business management experience and a successful track record of driving successful digital projects.

We are looking for a strategic thinker. A strong people leader who can develop, implement and drive innovative and differentiated solutions to our clients whilst bringing our business along on this journey. You will thrive whilst working in a collaborative environment, with proven business management experience. Global collaboration experience is highly desirable.

Your knowledge of the latest Digital Engineering solutions, collaboration platforms, BIM processes and standards as well as Virtual Reality technologies will see you utilising technology to drive business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

Degree educated or suitably experienced (MBA, Computer Science, Business or Engineering); you are a Digital Thought Leader, passionate about innovation and technical differentiation with proven experience in "Intelligent Project Delivery".
