Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Program Manager for immediate employment for the Atlanta, GA office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Responsible for managing the delivery of multiple world class projects

  • Provides necessary direction and guidance to achieve assigned corporate and financial objectives

  • Oversee the integration of the AECOM team with the client team

  • Responsible for maintaining quality

  • Oversees ongoing contracts to ensure cost effective performance and to assure client satisfaction

  • Ensures a high quality performance on all contracts

  • Manages projects to ensure minimization of risks

  • Approve all contracts and fee proposals

  • Manage risk

  • Provide leadership to the team

  • Ensure that QA/QC procedures are being implemented and followed at all phases of a project in accordance with Quality Assurance Program procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10+ years' experience in architecture or engineering field with a strong background in program and project management

  • Administrative, resource management and contract negotiation experience is essential with in-depth understanding of management functions as they relate to the proper planning and execution of professional services and construction projects

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Experience with applications such as MS Office (specifically Excel) as well as working knowledge of program management tools such as Proliance or PRISM

  • Exposure to performance measurement and cost/schedule integration concepts and principles

  • Must be proactive, self-starting and require minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant understanding of projects in the K-12 education market

  • CCM, PMP or equivalent preferred

  • Experience with schedule management tools such as Primavera P3/P6 and MS Project and Earned Value Management Systems is a plus
