Position Title Electrical Engineer Supervisor (Technadzor)
Kazakhstan - Astana
To supervise the engineering process for approval of works based on the program completion of 9 months for tenant’s retail and F&B.
Responsible for all inspection raised by Contactor as designated thru RFIT (Request for inspection & Test) and MIR (Materials Inspection request) and all monitoring and progress report required for the projects.
Supervise to implement qualiy procedures and expedite the works on sites thru inspection, coordination, monitoring progress and reporting by daily, weekly and monthly activities
Work and coordinate with the tenants and their design companies and review, comment and approve their drawings, including details, if the design is as per the approved tenants’ manual.
Checking of Contractor’s documentation issued for approval, commenting and giving status / feedback
Checking of Workshop and IFC drawings and Specifications to ensure compliance with KZ legislation, SNIP, GOST, EN and American standard’s.
Ensure close working and collaboration with the Senior Construction Supervisor and Construction Supervisor, the MEP and Civils and Structural Technadzors. Attend the meetings and walk around whenever required.
Ensure that Contractor and AECOM, HSE and QA information are relevant and up to date in relation to the working procedures, documentation and communication flow back into the main office
Record and monitor Contractors activities, schedule, performance, planning, logistics
Hold regular meetings with the Contractor staff to discuss construction methodologies, techniques, HSE, design, distribute relevant minutes between the team
Ensure that relevant paperwork is completed by the Contractor and the AECOM inspectors before, during and after all inspections
Supervision of contractors’ Quality Control Activities consist of, ensuring they are working with current approved information, quality of works / good workmanship, complying with HSE, Logistics,
Check all scaffolds, plant, equipment are maintained, in correct working order and suitable for use
Check all Construction Quality Control Plans issued by Construction Contractors on the basis of CONTRACTOR Quality Control Procedures;
Together with the QA Manager / Construction Supervisors, co-ordinate in matters pertaining to Quality Control, inspection and testing of any works relating to the section of works
Liaise very closely with the Senior Supervisors, Commissioning Managers in relation to the Testing and Commissioning Process, attend testing and or performance tests where required by the Contractor, Employer and or AECOM
Manage the time and work activities of their direct reports, ensure that other disciplines are aligned to the activities and in attendance if required.
Review and track the Inspection acts and Test records, liaise and monitor progress with verification engineer, QA Manager, Contractor etc
Issue Site Inspection Reports to from the Document Controllers, initiate Non-Conformance Reports (SOR/NCR), track, monitor, check progress
Check that corrective actions have been performed (SOR/NCR close out)
Management of in collaboration with the Contractor the Materials, Equipment, Progress of Works, Preparatory Works Inspections, Permanent Works Inspections, Temporary Works Inspections, Final Handover Inspections
Review, comment, monitor (under the Supervision of the Senior Supervisor) the works method statements issued by Construction contractor, advise on any alternative working methods, comment on the
Ensure the AECOM and in particular the MEP Team are at all times professional and carry out their duties in accordance with AECOM Company policies and Contract Requirements
Attend weekly meetings when required, regularly review with QA manager the systems and process’s to ensure compliance
Where required, participate in Construction / Façade / Landscape inspections, and ensure that areas are MEP ready for handover
Regularly review the works procedures, methodology with other disciplines to ensure works are being performed at correct time to ensure areas are ready for commissioning and testing
Taking all the necessary measures to ensure that the works entrusted to the Construction Contractors under his supervision are carried out in strict compliance with approved documentation and Employers Requirements
Ensure that all AECOM works are carried out in accordance with the AECOM QA Plan
Ensure that the AECOM teams are working in a collaborative manner and at all times sharing relevant information to each section of the works.
Ensure that their reports comply with the requirements of storing of record documents
Carry out daily site inspections (when required) with their direct reports where required, invite other AECOM team members to site inspections where required to seek feedback and professional comment
Ensure that the ADP team members are fully up to date with all AECOM Company policies / procedures
Ensure that the ADP Team are focused, motivated and at all times Professional in the delivery of the services
Provide input where required to the Monthly AECOM external and internal reports
Reports directly to the MEP Manager
The role would encompass all aspects of the project management, construction supervision and design review within the context of the AECOM CSC scope such as but not limited to:
To support the MEP team to implemement quality control and assurance procedures, monitor and expedite progress on site, to assess and develop reports for daily, weekly and monthly activities by Contractors
Review all the current Contract information such as specification, drawings and all relating to their section of the works between the Employer and the Contractor.
Assist in review of all information, documents submittals, querries, RFI if needed and conduct inspection request by Contractors
Attend site meetings and understand the current status of the works on their department, prepare a current status report and commentary on improvements to be made, report to be readied 3 days before submission.
