Job Summary

The Building + Places Division of AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Scheduler for immediate employment for work in a federal agency’s office in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for activities related to scheduling, including all the elements of project cost, including labor, materials and permanent equipment, supplies, consumables and expenses, and construction equipment rental and operating costs, contingency, escalation and program risk, etc.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides the client with current schedules for the design process

  • Works with Project Managers and other disciplines to evaluate appropriateness of project durations

  • Maintains consistent and period communications with other team members

  • Prepares and/or coordinates preparation of full project schedules

Please note that this hire will be required to meet client approval.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or related field

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience

  • Must have an understanding of construction means, methods, and sequences

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, Requests-for-Proposals and contracts

  • Ability to understand A/E design practices, sequencing, and schedules

  • Ability to generate project construction schedules as well as project design schedules

  • Ability to utilize P6 and MS Project software

  • Ability to integrate a master schedule with a multitude of projects

  • Security clearance of Secret or above is required

  • Due to the nature of the work, candidate must be a US Citizen
