AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Spectrum Manager with a thorough knowledge of Electromagnetic Spectrum Management (SM) and engineering tools including Spectrum 21 (SXXI), Equipment Location-Certification Information Database (EL-CID) and Coalition Joint Spectrum Management and Planning Tool (CJSMPT).

This position supports the Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO) including training on these SM applications to DoD and Government support personnel. The work requires solving operational or predictive problems involving Spectrum Dependent Systems (SDSs). Will create/ review frequency assignment proposals that comply with applicable policy, regulations, and procedures, and to determine/resolve technical conflicts with existing frequency assignments. The Spectrum Manager performs interference analysis, frequency nomination, and processing using SXXI and ensures proper coordination with appropriate federal, nonfederal, military and other government officials of the United States and foreign countries.

Minimum Requirements

Graduate and instructor of the Inter-service Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS) or The Army Spectrum Management Course, with 12+ years of experience working Spectrum Management within the DoD community. Requires Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in technical field.

Knowledgeable in Spectrum Certification System (SCS), Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO), and Stepstone.
