About the Business Line


AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary

AECOM has an awesome opportunity for an IT Manager on our Oasis program in Australia. The selected candidate serves as a member of the AECOM Management Team responsible for all Information Technology functions and IT client services within the region. Serves as the Systems Custodian for the management of information system practices, procedures and techniques. Will be the resident adviser and trainer on the use of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and similar business software; provides a passionate environment for emerging technologies, leading, developing and inspiring your team in delivering excellence in customer support for Management Information Systems (MIS) used on the AECOM program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in information management systems or related area.

  • 7 or more years of related experience.

  • Active, fully adjudicated TS/SCI w/CI Poly Clearance.

  • Experience managing a medium to large network utilizing Windows AD and DC.

  • Experience managing a diverse group of IT professionals.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Excellent analytical/problem solving ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior DOD or US government contractor and deployed overseas experience is preferred.

  • Cisco certifications preferred.

  • DOD 8570 certifications, such as CISSP, Network+, GSEC or similar is desirable.

  • Knowledge of Network Security and Infrastructure.
