AECOM is hiring qualified Supply Technicians in support of USMC Depot Augmentation - Albany, GA.
Employee will play a role in an analytical cell providing support in identifying, developing and executing material requirements and collaborating with wholesale suppliers to ensure requirements are met. Duties will include extracting, compiling, analyzing and recording material supply and logistics data from DoD Integrated Logistics Systems and Technical Manuals to assist in inventory level maintenance, inventory reduction, and material requirements. Employee will conduct data analysis from complex Excel workbooks consisting of material usage information. Employee will run reports using Excel formulas and macros to develop Procurement Material Supply Plans and Material Inventory Plans. Employee will conduct analysis to determine current and future requirements and prepare reports based on their findings for management’s review.
As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Perform miscellaneous quality assurance duties including inspections, inventory process checks, inspecting and examining materials, article inspections, etc.
Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, and equipment
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste and smell. Frequently lifts items weighing 15-25 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme heat or cold; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, or may include unsafe conditions, in which case questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to supervisors and managers on all safety issues. Night work may be required. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
High school degree or equivalent is desirable. Three (3) years of material/supply functions, either in the military services on in commercial applications. Knowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines. Analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and to take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines.
Must pass an Microsoft Office Excel Proficiency Test.
Must have ability to extract, compile, analyze and record data from multiple sources.
Must have a basic understanding of DoD supply system.
Must possess problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Must be able to operate Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
Must have advanced Microsoft Excel formatting, editing, and formula executing skills.
Must have ability to summarize analysis and prepare reports for review.
Must be able to understand and read Technical Manuals.
Must have the ability to perform root cause analysis and recognize changes in supply data.
Must have understanding of military and civilian rank structure.
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Must be self-motivated.
Must work well as a team member to meet organization and command goals.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit.
This position requires a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Common Access Card (CAC) or Rapid Gate Pass.
Must be a US citizen.
