Job Summary

Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in impact assessment and permitting, environmental planning and management, natural resources, air quality, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies and waste and water services.

The role of Senior Environmental Planner / Scientist will manage and execute environmental impact assessment and approvals projects to provide successful and high quality outcomes for our clients. The role provides technical leadership based on experience in impact assessment, environmental management and stakeholder management.

About the role:

· Manage projects including preparation and supervision of all deliverables and resources to meet contract requirements in line with project plan

· Undertake sections of multi-faceted projects in collaboration with senior staff or sub-consultants

· Provide technical expertise to resolve clients / project requirements and ensure maintenance of high technical standards

· Develop and implement strategies for business growth

· Effectively communicate in a professional manner with other project staff including subcontractors, suppliers, clients and the community to enhance working relationships and outcomes

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification (Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Statutory Planning, Environmental Engineering or similar)

  • At least 5 years relevant impact assessment or environmental approvals experience across a number of market sectors.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects and meeting project goals and deliverables in a timely and profitable manner

  • Experience in successfully leading project teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification (Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Statutory Planning, Environmental Engineering or similar)
