Job Summary

AECOM are currently seeking a Logistics Inspector to join our UAE business.

Logistics Inspector

  • Oversees site logistics and liaises with the contractor and project team.

  • Creates and maintains a logistics risk management log and recommends procurement and location options for temporary facilities for the project including access roads, temporary utilities, laydown areas, etc. to ensure the continuous operation throughout the life of the project.

  • Monitors the effectiveness of contractor logistics relating to usage and all movement of equipment’s to and from the site.

  • Monitors the planning of logistics, checking and reporting on the contractor’s performance in receipt, transport, storage, and preservation of materials.

  • Advises and monitors contractor implementation and control of site logistics, storage areas, warehouses, logistic supports, camps and offices, power, water, drainage and other facilities.

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Engineering and must have min 7-8 years’ experience including experience of in a similar role.
