Job Summary

AECOM is seeking forAssistant Project Managerits Abu Dhabi Location.The Interface Coordinator (MTC) is to take the lead role in managing the construction coordination and logistics between the various MTC projects as they relate to the central MTB construction program.

•The main responsibility of this position is to assure the smooth flow of manpower, equipment and materials into the MTB construction area

•Take the lead role in managing the construction interface coordination and logistics between the various MTC projects as they relate to the central MTB construction program.

•Schedule regular meetings with all MTC Contractor’s (6 No) Interface & Coordination and Logistics teams to gain a full understanding of their planned manpower, equipment and material movement plans and to understand their issues regarding Coordination and Logistics with the other Contractors working on the MTC project. Prepare Minutes of Meetings within 24 hours and forward to the MTC Element Manager for review and forwarding on to Document Control for distribution.

•Assist the MTC Element Manager in all aspects of Interface Planning & Co-ordination, Logistics Planning & Management.

•When directed by the MTC Element Manager meet with the Engineering Management Team Stakeholder and Coordinators. Where issues can’t be resolved through the above meetings, escalate to the MTC Element Manager who will develop resolution.

•Provide information in a timely manner required to meet the project KPI’s

Minimum Requirements

•Good Organizational and interpersonal skills

•Ability to make decisions

•Medium level of computer literacy

•Provides guidance and mentors team members.

•Ability to work with others as part of a team

•Self motivated and able to work unsupervised

•Good report writing and reporting skills is a must.

Preferred Qualifications •Degree in Engineering and Construction.
