AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Resident Construction Manager for immediate employment. The project will be supporting the Air Force Civil Engineer Center Housing Privatization mission at the Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, TX.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Responsible for coordinating local contractors and work force to efficiently complete projects
Provide overall supervision of all construction and field operations
Construct schedules and coordinate correspondence between contractors, military personnel, and government agencies
Complete and process paperwork associated with construction management duties: processing change orders, field orders, RFI’s, submittals and pay applications, project logs, monthly and weekly reports
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years directly related field experience
Qualified as a Construction Inspector
Well versed in surveillance of construction activities, landscaping, civil (water, sewer, drainage distribution), structural, electrical, architectural, and mechanical systems
Ability to use MS office Professional suite, project scheduling software and scanning software
Perform successfully in a team environment
Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
A valid driver’s license is required
