Position Title Information Security/Assurance Engineer

Verifies and validates that the radar systems continue to be compliant with Information Assurance (IA) engineering support to the program in order to meet the security posture required for the program to achieve the Approval to Operate (ATO).
Coordinate and ensure all IA artifacts are compliant with the standards identified as they apply to the system, network, or enclave being supported.
Manage and oversee required re-accreditation efforts.
Strong Knowledge of analyzing and developing strategies for administration of networks consistent with IA/ Cyber requirements
Incorporate OPSEC guidance/strategy related to IA/ Cyber and Engineering Tasks
Support, implement, report and administer the Enterprise-Level and Program Security Plans.
Provide technical documents in support of networks and IA / Cyber efforts
Must be able to provide assistance with of Force Protection Support Services, Anti-Terrorism Support Specialists, Emergency Prepared Support Specialists
Assist in identifying, mitigating and correcting known and unknown vulnerabilities in current and planned system architectures and capabilities.
Provide protection and sustainment of the information assurance / cyber requirements for system and information availability, authorization, authentication, Integrity, confidentiality and non-repudiation
Provide subject matter expertise on IA/ Cyber controls and implementation the following essential responsibilities:
Provide oversight for the development, implementation, and administration of security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, equipment and facilities across the division.
Provide leadership for the Physical/Program Security and Operational Function.
Identify, review, and oversee implementation of federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Review rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations to ensure compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Oversee the preparation of policies and procedures related to industrial security, including the handling, storing, and keeping records; the management of personnel clearances, and the access to restricted records, materials, and facilities.
Support security awareness across the division, ensuring security education and awareness initiatives are implemented and followed Provide oversight of all facility clearances and facilities access control processes, procedures, and systems.
Must be able to review and edit Public Releases for Operational Security.
Able to write, process, and maintain Contract Security Classification Specification and Contract Antiterrorism/Operational Security forms. Must have Hazardous Material experience.
Indoctrinate new SIPR users on program procedures for classified network and access.
Ensure security violations are investigated and corrective actions are taken. Provide reports to management and others as appropriate.
Communicate with internal management and external agencies related to Security concerns audits, reviews, incidents, etc.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
Associate’s degree or technical diploma/degree in Engineering/Physical Science/Logistics, Business Administration or Management or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Physical Science/Logistics, Business Administration or Management with 4 years’ experience in preparing/editing DOD technical documents, supply, purchasing, provisioning, design, and reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) analysis of complex mechanical and electronics systems/equipment. If no degree, must have a minimum of 12+ years’ of military logistics / fielding operations experience or related field.
Requires good communications skills, working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications, organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
Position may require regular CONUS/OCONUS travel.

A Department of Defense (DoD) active SECRET security clearance is required.
Require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Position may require travel.
Position requires successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
Position requires strong analytical, interpersonal and project management skills. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
