Job Summary

Uses subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps that vary in nature and sequence. Selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records; verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; and handling and adjusting complaints. May require supervisory responsibility. Use a thorough knowledge of an office's work and routine to: 1) choose among widely varying methods and procedures to process complex transactions; and 2) select or devise steps necessary to complete assignments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and research material to gain a thorough technical understanding of a complex subject area supporting a task assignment. Task assignment may include one or more of the following analysis: strategic planning and analysis; demand and capacity analysis; economic analysis; regulatory analysis; safety and risk analysis; system operation performance analysis; and information analysis.

  2. Prepare oral presentations and written reports to management, indicating solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single solution. "

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a discipline such as Business Management, Economics, Logistics, Statistics, or Finance plus 8 years’ experience . TS/SCI
